Kamarui Dorsey has an extensive offer sheet from multiple powerhouse programs but he trimmed his list down to seven schools including Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and LSU.
The top-100 player in the state from Hampton is ranked in the top-100 players nationally according to 247Sports.com as well as a top-10 player in the state of Georgia according to the recruiting outlet.
Last week, Dorsey became the first-ever Hampton Hornet to be selected to participate in the 2026 Under Armour All-American game that will take place in Orlando in January of 2026.
Dorsey has been a two-way star for this Hampton team this year as he has been a force on both sides of the ball.
On offense, Dorsey leads the team in categories such as receiving yards with 591 on the season as well as receptions with 30 thus far, using his large 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame to his advantage. Dorsey is also responsible for nine total touchdowns (six receiving, three rushing) while adding 118 yards on the ground on 11 carries.
In his natural role on defense, Dorsey has totaled 40 total tackles, two tackles for loss and is tied for a team-high three interceptions on the season through eight games.
Dorsey has been a huge piece to the 2025 Hampton roster as the Hornets are 6-2 on the season and 5-2 in Region 2-4A where the team is currently in a tie for second place with Jones County, Ola and Stockbridge, with Locust Grove in first place with only one loss on the season.
While the Hornets are off this week, Dorsey and the team will be back in action next week as they will travel to Ola for a big regional matchip against the Mustangs.
