One of the biggest games of the season in Region 8-2A will be East Jackson’s trip to No. 2 Hebron Christian. The Eagles are currently 5-0 and have been able to find ways to win in every game. However, Hebron will be the team’s biggest test to date. The Lions are 4-1, and that one loss came to McCallie (4-1) in a 24-8 game, one of the top teams in Tennessee. Hebron is coming off a massive win over 4A Blessed Trinity (3-2). The game will come down to whether East Jackson can limit the explosive Hebron offense and force them to drive the field.

The No. 5 team in the class, Holy Innocents’ (4-1), heads to No. 9 Lovett (4-1) in a game that will help decide Region 5-2A. Lovett is on a four-game winning streak after losing its first game of 14-8 the season to rival Westminster (2-4). In that span, the Lions’ defense has been dominant, giving up only 7.6 points per game. On the other side of the field, the Golden Bears are off to a hot start, going 4-1 with that one loss coming in a 30-2 setback against Blessed Trinity (3-2). The game will come down to whether the Lions’ defense can slow the Holy Innocents’ offense, and if the Lovett offense can find the rhythm it has been missing all season.

The No. 6 ranked Savannah Christian Raiders (3-2) will play host to 4A No. 5 Blessed Trinity (3-2). This will be the two teams’ first-ever meeting after last year’s matchup was canceled because of Hurricane Helene. The Raiders are coming off two straight losses, to Oceanside Collegiate (SC) (3-2), 41-21, and Fellowship Christian (4-1), 52-21. Blessed Trinity is also coming off two straight losses, with the Titans falling to Milton (4-1), 21-10, and Hebron(3-1), 22-17. The key to the game will be which team can fulfill its offensive potential, somethong both teams have failed to do this season.

Class A-3A Private Top 10 Schedule

No. 1 Prince Avenue travels to Hartwell to face Hart County.

No. 3 Fellowship Christian hosts Mt. Vernon as they look to move to 2-0 in region play.

No. 4 Calvary Day on bye.

No. 7 Aquinas hosts 4-star safety Ta’Sahwn Poole and the Howard Huskies.

No. 8 GAC heads to Dawson county trying to continue the hot start to the season.

No. 10 Wesleyan heads to Mt. Pisgah trying to bounce back from last week's loss.

One of the biggest games of the season in Region 8-2A will be East Jackson’s trip to No. 2 Hebron Christian. The Eagles are currently 5-0 and have been able to
