The Archer Tigers have been home to Gwinnett County’s most productive wide receivers in each of the last three seasons. In 2023 it was a young Johnathan Stafford—who paced the county with his 86 receptions. Stafford eventually transferred out to attend Grayson following his sophomore seasons, but 2024 saw the emergence of Colby Alexander. In 12 games, Alexander posted a staggering 1,061 receiving yards off his 65 receptions and he scored a team-high 11 touchdowns. For his efforts, Alexander was named to Gwinnett County’s First-Team All County squad and he made an immediate impact with Wofford this past season—accounting for 25 receptions for 244 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

This season, Archer welcomed in sophomore Robbie Dunn Jr after the talented wide receiver transferred over from Hebron Christian. Over the course of the 2025 season, Dunn became one of the most productive wide receivers in the state and finished the year with 68 receptions for 821 yards and eight touchdowns. As a result, Archer has now had Gwinnett County’s receiving king for three straight seasons. Dunn’s father Robbie was a standout at Laney High School and the only Augusta area player to be named AJC All Classification Player of the Year. He went on to attend Auburn and was a receiver and nationally renowned punt returner.

Heading into next season, Dunn will attempt to surpass his production from his sophomore season. One of his most standout performances came Week 3 this year as he posted 11 receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown in Archer’s loss to Mill Creek. In region play, Dunn hauled in seven catches for 115 yards and two touchdowns against Heritage-Conyers—his first multi-touchdown game of his career. The biggest change at Archer next season will come with replacing three-year starting quarterback Jordan Do. Earlier this week, Do was named Gwinnett County QB of the Year for the second-straight season.
