Collins Hill stand-out defensive lineman Deuce Geralds has made history this season as the four-star has broken the GHSA all-time record for most sacks in a career with 51, breaking former Norcross linebacker Lorenzo Carter’s record.
“It’s a great feeling and an accomplishment that I’m thankful for,” said Geralds. “I’m just grateful to God, my family, my coaches, trainers, and teammates for the roles they all played in helping me in my journey.”
Geralds is rated as a top-100 player in the 247Sports Composite Rankings as well as a top-10 defensive lineman in the state. He has been committed to LSU since August of 2025 and has been on a tear this season for Collins Hill.
For the Eagles, Geralds has been a two-way star in his senior season while recording 75 total tackles and 29 tackles for loss during his final season of high school football. On offense, Geralds has carried the ball 21 times for 111 yards and a touchdowns so far this season, making himself a weapon with the ball in his hands in short-yardage situations.
In his career at Collins Hill, Geralds has performed highly in all four seasons of high school including playing 10 games as a freshman.
The four-star LSU-commit has recorded 336 total tackles, 106.5 tackles for loss and 128 QB hurries during his time as a member of the Collins Hill football program and has now joined the GHSA record books with a Peach State record, 51 total sacks in his career.
Geralds will have the opportunity to extend his sack record as the Eagles are on the road at Discovery before the postseason begins.
