DAILY DIVE: DeKalb football programs testing their mettle through packed scrimmage schedule

There are eleven games this week for DeKalb County schools from Tuesday to Friday and Lithonia will take to the field against Miller Grove Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Godfrey Stadium to open the scrimmage schedule.

On Thursday, South Atlanta will play Chamblee at North DeKalb Stadium (6 p.m.), Columbia will face Southwest DeKalb at Avondale Stadium (7:30 p.m.) and Wesleyan will play at Dunwoody at 7 p.m. There is one game scheduled at home on Friday when Tucker plays Arabia Mountain at 7 p.m. at Adams Stadium.

On the road, M.L. King plays North Clayton at Southern Crescent Stadium while Clarkston will travel to Mount Bethel (5:30 p.m.), Cross Keys will play at Community Christian (7 p.m.), Lakeside-DeKalb will play at Bowden (7:30 p.m.), Stephenson will travel to Parkview (7:30 p.m.) and Stone Mountain will play at Fayette County (7:30 p.m.).
