Stephenson's KJ Green has reached his next recruitment milestone. The Stone Mountain native has narrowed his search down to these 12 schools: Ohio State, Miami, Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, Florida State, Texas, USC, Nebraska, South Carolina, Florida.

The 2027 Edge rusher is a top 11 player nationally via 247 Sports. Green is a top 3 player in the state of Georgia and a top four EDGE in the nation.

At 6’4” 215, Green has prototypical size to be a force at the next level. Through the first seven games of his junior season, he has racked up 25 tackles for loss and 14 sacks. Green has improved from an already impressive sophomore season in which he had 19 tackles for loss and 9 sacks. Green’s scouting report describes him as an “action figure” with the speed, muscle, and effort to wreak havoc on all three downs.

Florida State has hosted Green on campus the most. However, Green will be in Knoxville when Tennessee takes on Arkansas, despite the Vols not making his final 12. Alabama feels good about where they stand in his recruitment and the in-state Georgia Bulldogs should never be counted out. Green has also taken visits to Nebraska, USC, and South Carolina.
