On Wednesday, 247Sports released an updated Top247, revealing the best high school football prospects in the 2026 class. This update is the first since the summer, adjusting rankings based on everyone’s senior season.

In the updated rankings, Georgia has 12 players in the Top 100. Gainesville LB Xavier Griffin leads the way, ranking as the #13 player in the nation. Griffin is committed to Alabama.

Benedictine EDGE LaDamion Guyton is the #15 player in the nation. Guyton rose 5 spots in the update, now ranking as the #4 EDGE and #2 player in Georgia. Guyton shocked the world when he committed to Texas Tech earlier this year,

The top 3 is rounded out by Sprayberry CB Jorden Edmonds. The Alabama commit dropped three spots in the update but still ranks as the #1 CB in America. Edmonds has been a lockdown cornerback and a dominant receiver for Sprayberry this year.

Carver-Columbus EDGE Tristian Givens is the final Georgia five-star in these updated rankings. Givens, a Texas A&M commit, ranks #26 nationally and #6 at his EDGE position.

Grayson star LB Tyler Atkinson dropped 17 spots in the update, now ranking as the #38 player in America. Atkinson is now a 247Sports four-star, ranking as the country’s #2 LB. Atkinson committed to Texas in the summer.

Bowdon TE Kaiden Prothro is the #6 player in Georgia and #48 player in the nation in this update. Prothro is the first player on this list committed to an in-state program. The UGA commit has put up 18 TDs and 800 yards this year. Prothro is also dominant on the basketball court.

Collins Hill DL Deuce Geralds was one of the biggest risers in this update. Geralds rose 107 spots to #65 in the nation. Geralds is now the #4 DL in America and the #7 player in Georgia. Geralds broke the GHSA sack record this season. He has 54 career sacks.

Gainesville DL Jamarion Matthews ranks as the #8 player in Georgia and #73 nationally. Matthews rose 86 spots in the rankings update. Gainesville, along with Grayson, is one of two schools in Georgia with multiple Top 100 players. Matthews and his five-star teammate, Xavier Griffin, are committed to Alabama.

Buford DL Bryce Perry-Wright comes in as the #9 player in the nation, ranking #75 nationally. Perry-Wright, the Texas A&M commit, dropped 42 spots in the rankings update. He is still the #7 DL in the nation.

Kell’s Brayden Rouse rounds out the top 10 for the Peach State. Rouse is the #81 player in the nation. Rouse is the #7 LB in America and is committed to Tennessee.

Grayson QB Travis Burgess remains in the top 100, coming in as the #95 player in the nation. Burgess is the #7 QB in the nation despite suffering a season-ending injury in Grayson’s first game. Burgess is committed to North Carolina.
