Four counties put multiple teams in the State Championships

Four counties have multiple schools represented in this years state finals, setting the stage for these regions to showcase their dominance in next weeks championships.
Carroll County continues its recent dominance with two teams in the finals. Bowdon is seeking its third-straight state title and has been a top-five team all season, with its only losses coming to Fellowship Christian and Manchester. Meanwhile, Carrollton returns to the finals for the first time since 2021. Carrollton has been the top-ranked team in 6A since Week 3 and solidified that position with a win over Buford, the only other team to hold the top spot in the classification this season.

Fulton County guarantees itself a 5A state champion as two of its teams face off in the title game. Milton, the top-ranked team in 5A and a top-three program nationally, has dominated since Week 1. Hughes, ranked fourth in 5A, has also been a consistent contender all season. This matchup ensures Fulton County will claim a state title for the third-consecutive year.

The small town of Bogart in Oconee County is home to two state finalists. North Oconee has been unstoppable, earning a top-three ranking and completing its third-straight undefeated season. Across town, Prince Avenue Christian continues its success, aiming for a third-consecutive championship and the first-ever A-3A Private state title.

Gwinnett County once again has multiple representatives in the state finals. Grayson, a powerhouse program, makes its first finals appearance since 2020 and looks to bring home another championship under head coach Santavious Bryant. In Dacula, Hebron Christian is an up-and-coming contender, seeking its first state championship while giving head coach Jonathan Gess a chance to earn his seventh career title.
