The 1976 Warner Robins Demons football team was formidable. It won the Class 3A state championship and the National Championship that year and has been heralded as one of the greatest high school football teams ever assembled in the state.

In October, the entire team was recognized alongside the 1971 Valdosta 3A and National Champions with an induction into the Georgia High School Football Hall of Fame’s fourth induction class.

The Demons, who are 6-4 this season and will host Eastside in the first round of the playoffs under head coach Shane Sams, were presented with the Hall of Fame plaque by members of the storied 1976 team.
