When Howard’s football team was preparing to face Baldwin late in October, junior safety Ta’Shawn Poole received a package in the mail. His mother was not sure who the package belonged to.

"I opened it because it didn't have his name on it, and I didn't know what it was, so I opened it, and I was like, 'this is a pretty box, what is it.' I was shocked, I was like oh my god," Poole’s mother Karissa Coleman-Lowe told 13WMAZ.

The package contained Poole’s invite to the upcoming Under-Armour All American game, which will take place on Jan. 3 at 4 p.m. and will be broadcast on the ESPN Networks.  Poole is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound four-star prospect and is the 71st overall prospect for his class and the sixth-rated safety, nationally.
