Parkview makes hire for the program's eighth head football coach

Parkview has found the program's next head football coach in former Milton and West Forsyth head coach Adam Clack.

Former Parkview head coach, Joe Sturdivant, announced he was leaving the program earlier this month to help take care of his eight-year-old son as he deals with PANS/PANDAS. Sturdivant accepted a job on the Black Hills State coaching staff as a defensive backs coach.

Clack was a high school football head coach in the state of Georgia from 2014 to 2021 as he spent three seasons with West Forsyth from 2014-2016 before spending five seasons at Milton from 2017-2021.

In his eight seasons as a head coach, Clack compiled a 74-24 record including multiple successful seasons as the Milton Eagles head coach. Clack and the Eagles won four-straight region championships from 2018-2021.

In his second season with the program in 2018, Clack and the Eagles recorded a 13-2 record and were crowned Class 7A state champions, the programs first-ever football state championship.

In his time at Milton, Clack instilled a culture of winning that current head coach and former Milton offensive coordinator, Ben Reaves, has continued since taking up the mantle of head coach after Clacks departure following the 2021 season.

The winning culture that Clack installed remains within the program as the Eagles have won seven-straight region titles since Clacks 2018 season, including back-to-back state championships in 2023 and 2024.

Clack takes over a Parkview football program that hasnt won eight games in a season since 2019.Under Sturdivant for the last two seasons, the Panthers compiled a 10-11 record, including a postseason appearance in 2023, losing in the first round to Colquitt County.

The Panthers failed to make the postseason last season, but are poised to make a run in 2025 with Clack at the helm of the program.
