As we get into the thick of the 2025 GHSA football and flag football seasons, the Georgia Elite Classic has begun to send out invites to the annual televised all-star games (Atlanta News First / Peachtree Sports Network), which will be hosted from Dec. 27-28 at Rome’s Historic Barron Stadium as the event returns to Rome, Ga. for its 13th installment.
For players looking to make their case for an invitation from On3’s Rusty Mansell, the Chairman of the Georgia Elite Classic Selection Committee, registration is now open for the second GEC showcase of the year, which will be held on Sunday, November 2 at Blessed Trinity High School. The showcase provides each participant with the opportunity to come out and compete through a series of drills and exercises, while making their case for an invite to the all-star games. The GEC staff, along with Mansell, will be passing out invitations after the showcase, and spots are available for 7th grade – 12th grade tackle football players, as well as high school flag football players. To register for the Nov. 2 showcase, please click here. For the list of current GEC alum playing in the NFL, please click here.
