Rome Linebacker Jaedon Harmon announces commitment to Alabama, third player from Georgia in 2025 class

Rome class of 2025 4-star linebacker, Jaedon Harmon, announced his commitment to Alabama on Sunday as he becomes the 10th commitment to the Crimson Tide in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
Harmon is ranked as a top-150 recruit in the country and a top-20 linebacker in the 2025 recruiting class according to 247Sports. He is ranked as a 4-star across all major recruiting platforms.

In the Crimson Tides seventh-ranked recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, Harmon is the third player from Georgia to commit to Alabama, joining Mill Creeks Luke Metz and Dodge Countys Darrell Duke Johnson. He is the sixth 4-star in Alabamas class as the Crimson Tides new staff has added a multitude of linebackers to its recruiting class.
According to 247Sports, Harmon held over 35 offers, including prestigious schools such as Texas, Michigan, Clemson, Ohio State and Oregon.
In his first two seasons playing varsity football Harmon has accumulated over 100 tackles, including a pick-six his sophomore season. In his junior season, the 4-star linebacker totaled 80 tackles including eight TFL, five sacks, five quarterback hurries, three pass breakups and an interception, making an impact all over the field for the Wolves last season.
Harmon played a large part for the Rome defense, and helped the program finish with an 11-2 record and advance to the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state playoffs.For his play on the field he was voted as an All-State selection by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
