The third-annual Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Basketball Classic is back and bigger than ever with a thrilling nine-game lineup starting Friday, Dec. 12 at Newton High School and concluding on Saturday at Gainesville High School’s Davis-Hill Gym. Each of the nine games will be televised live, with the last three Friday matchups on Atlanta News First (Channel 46) and the first game on Friday and all five of Saturday's games on the Peachtree Sports Network (cable & YouTube TV), and will stream digitally on the ANF website/app as well as the National Federation High School Network.

From your home, download the free ANF+ app anywhere you stream — FireTV, AppleTV, Roku and YouTubeTV — simply by searching for “Atlanta News First” on those platforms. If you are on the go, you can download Atlanta News First for free in the app store on your Apple or Android device. You can also watch live here on the WANF – Special Events channel.

Defending Class 3A girls state champion Cherokee Bluff will take on Class A-3A Private state runner up Hebron Christian in the opening game on Friday at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Lovett and Cherokee Bluff boys meeting for the first time. Defending Class 6A girls state champion Newton will host Alcovy before the nightcap between the Newton and Alcovy boys.

Saturday’s five game lineup at Gainesville opens with the Mt. Paran boys taking on the Tucker Tigers at 10 a.m. The West Forsyth boys and Riverwood Raiders meet in Game 2 before a top-10 showdown between defending Class 5A girls state champion River Ridge and Class 6A Marietta. A Class 6A clash between the North Paulding and West Forsyth girls will precede this year’s finale between Alabama powerhouse Pinson Valley and the Gainesville boys—who are ranked No. 1 in a crowded Class 5A.
