Norcross moved up to No. 7 after its victory over previously undefeated Peachtree Ridge and Milton replaced the Lions in the poll at No. 10 in the Class 7A standings.

Newton fell to No. 9 after its loss to South Gwinnett. In Class 6A, Hughes moved up to No. 4 and Douglas County moved up a spot to No. 2 with Lee County sliding to No. 5 and Thomas County Central dropping from No. 2 to No. 3. Warner Robins moved up to No. 9 in Class 5A and Calhoun dropped out of the poll after its loss to Cass that eliminated the Jackets from the playoffs. In Class 4A, Perry fell to No. 8 after its loss to Spalding and Starrs Mill replaced Burke County at No. 10 after the Bears loss to New Hampstead.

Crisp County entered the Class 3A top 10 after upending Thomasville 61-22. In Class 2A, Thomson leads with Pierce County, Appling County, Toombs County and Northeast-Macon in the top 5. In Class A Division I, Prince Avenue, Commerce, Trion, Bleckley County and Elbert County round the top 5.

In Class A Division II, Schley County, Manchester, Aquinas, Macon County and Bowdon lead the top 5.
