In Class 7A, Mill Creek moved up two slots to No. 5 after a 42-7 win over Archer improved the Hawks to 3-0. Milton slid down to No. 7 because of Mill Creeks movement and was off on a bye with a 1-1 start. The other major development in Class 7A was Peachtree Ridge replacing North Cobb in the poll and debuting at 3-0.

In Class 6A, Rome fell to No. 10 after its loss to Class 7A No. 4 Carrollton and Roswell moved up to No. 1 from No. 2 after formerly No. 1 ranked Hughes fell to Butler N.C. 30-27 on Saturday. Thomas County Central moved up to No. 6 after Rome slid to No. 10.

In Class 5A, Ware County replaced Creekside at No. 1 after the Seminoles lost 62-0 to nationally No. 1 ranked Mater Dei on Saturday. Warner Robins moved up to No. 2 after its win over Northside-Warner Robins and the addition of transfer Judd Anderson at quarterback. Creekside comes in at No. 3 this week and Dalton debuts in the poll for the first time.

The Class 4A poll saw Cedartown fall out of the poll after its 1-2 start and Stockbridge returned to the poll after its 54-0 win over Class 3A former No. 10 ranked Dougherty.

Cedar Grove stays atop Class 3A despite a 46-41 loss to Westlake. In Class 2A, Thomson took over the No. 1 spot with Appling County, Pierce County, Callaway and Northeast-Macon rounding the top 5. Prince Avenue remains atop Class A Division I with Swainsboro, Irwin County, Bleckley County and Brooks County in the top 5.

In Class A Division II, Schley County tops the poll with Manchester at No. 2 and Early County, Macon County and Aquinas rounding the top 5.
