Darlington and Charlton County had rested atop the GHSA Class A baseball private and public power rankings, respectively, for the past few weeks; however, two new teams are now No. 1 according to the latest number crunching. George Walton Academy out of Region 8-A is up to No. 1 in the private poll while Emanuel County Institute is No. 1 in the public poll.

Darlington has slipped to No. 3 behind fellow Region 6-A power Mt. Paran Christian at No. 2. Eagle's Landing Christian and First Presbyterian Day, which had climbed as high as No. 2 and No. 3, now round out the top five. Brookstone checks in at No. 6 with Savannah Christian at No. 7 and Mt. Pisgah Christian and Providence Christian tied for No. 8. Holy Innocents' completes the top 10.

In Class A Public, Charlton County is down to No. 3, behind ECI and No. 2 Gordon Lee. Schley County and Baconton complete the top five. Hawkinsville, Johnson County, Clinch County, Treutlen and Greenville comprise spots 6-10. Regions 3-A and 4-A each have three teams in the top 10.
