BREAKING: Colquitt County 4-star RB Jae Lamar no longer with the team

It has been reported by DawgNation's Jeff Sentell that Colquitt County 4-star running back and Georgia commit, Jae Lamar, is no longer with the Packers organization. This news comes after Colquitt County bested Valdosta 18-17 this past Friday, with Lamar not featured in the win, as the Packers currently sit with a 5-2 record on the season and are 1-1 in Region 1-6A. Lamar previously committed to the Bulldogs this past June.
“Unfortunately, he’s no longer with us,” Packers head coach Sean Calhoun told Sentell.
At this time, no other news has come to light regarding the reason for the dismissal. Colquitt County will now look ahead to its Friday-night matchup against Tift County (3-4) at home.
