Current GHSA eSports standings display exponential growth of the sport

The GHSA eSports season is weeks old and teams are jockeying for positioning in each of the eSport disciplines.

Teams play competitions Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. League of Legends, Splatoon 3 and Chess are competing on Tuesdays. Smash Brothers and NBA 2k25 play on Wednesdays and Rocket League, Madden and Mario Kart 8 take to the virtual stages on Thursdays.

Some programs field multiple teams. Examples like Valdostas No. 1 and No. 2 teams, which are tied for third place in the Madden competition and Early Countys White and Gold teams, which are both placed in the Top 5 of the Class A-2A Super Smash competition

The playoffs begin after the eight-week regular season on November 18 and will continue through the state championships December 12 at the University of West Georgia for League of Legends, Super Smash and Mario Kart 8 while the other titles will have final dates announced through PlayVS.
