It is no surprise that Georgia produces some of the best high school softball players in the nation, many of whom will go on to populate college rosters in the future.

From highly touted Division I programs to local community colleges, there are ladies from all over Georgia taking their talents to the next level.

East Coweta's Jada Savage, a senior right-handed pitcher who helped lead the Indians the the 6A state championship last season, committed to Ole Miss in 2024 and the Rebels are getting a fabulous player. Savage was named the 2024-25 Gatorade Georgia Softball Player of the Year in June in the company's 40th year honoring high school athletes.

She finished with a 27-1 record last season, a 0.61 ERA, 217 strikeouts, and a 0.61 WHIP over 148.2 innings, holding hitters to a .121 average and throwing 18 shutouts, six of them no-hitters. She also hit .490 with 45 RBI and a 1.389 OPS. Ranked No. 25 nationally by Prep Softball, Savage was named the 2024 GA Dugout Club Player of the Year and pitched a complete game while driving in a run to secure the championship with a 4-3 victory against top-ranked Buford.

Let’s take a glance at some of the other commitments from the Class of 2026.
