Week 1 Softball Rankings

East Coweta and Buford remain the favorites atop the state’s highest class with North Cobb, Brookwood and North Gwinnett in the top 5. Creekview ascended to the top of Class 5A ahead of Seckinger, Effingham County, Lassiter and South Effingham.

Harris County tops Class 4A ahead of Cartersville, Kell, Allatoona and Eastside. In Class 3A, Heritage-Catoosa leads Cherokee Bluff, Monroe Area, Harlem and Pickens. Morgan County is ranked atop Class 2A ahead of Sonoraville, Appling County, Rockmart and Pike County.

Gordon Lee is the team to beat in Class A-Division I with Jeff Davis, Bremen, East Laurens and Banks County chasing. Emanuel County Institute is ranked atop Class A-Division II with Lanier County, Georgia Military, Irwin County and Screven County in the top 5.
