Week 1 Softball Rankings

Buford tops the states highest class and leads Mill Creek, East Coweta, North Gwinnett and Dacula in the top 5. Parkview, Kennesaw Mountain, Cherokee, Lambert and Lowndes fill the top 10.

In Class 6A, Lassiter is at the top and ahead of Pope, Sequoyah, Creekview and River Ridge. Loganville is the team to beat in Class 5A with Northside-Columbus, Cambridge, Northgate and Harris County chasing. Central-Carroll tops Class 4A with Walnut Grove, Whitewater, North Oconee and West Laurens in the top 5.

Gordon Lee leads Class 3A with Harlem, Jackson, Wesleyan and Morgan County rounding out the top 5. Appling County tops Class 2A ahead of Academy for Classical Education, Jeff Davis, Vidalia and Rockmart.

In Class A Division I, Heard County, Social Circle, Prince Avenue Christian, Elbert County and Oglethorpe County are in the top 5. Lanier County tops Class A Division II with Wilcox County, ECI, Schley County and Georgia Military filling the top 5.
