In what has been the theme all season long in Class 4A of Georgia High School Football continues into the postseason as the Cambridge Bears and the Ola Mustangs kickoff against one another for the first time in both schools short histories.

It’s a battle of second year head coaches as Ola’s Dustin Adkins and Cambridge’s Tyler Jones look to build their coaching resumes with a postseason victory in just their second seasons leading their programs.

While the Cambridge football program began in 2012 and Ola’s in 2006, both programs are relatively new and have begun experiencing some success this season.

The Ola Mustangs are coming off their best season a year ago as they finished 11-1 last season and into the second round for the first time in program history. Now in his second season leading the team, Adkins and the Mustangs finished 8-2 in the regular season, putting together another stellar regular season in 2025.

Junior quarterback Caden Worley has been exceptional for the Mustangs this season, throwing for 1,659 yards and 14 passing touchdowns. Worley has also rushed for four touchdowns and 262 yards on the year, making a difference with his arm and his legs.

A big piece of the Ola offense has been junior running back Caden Waye who leads the team in most rushing statistics with 764 yards and 14 touchdowns on 136 carries, averaging over five yards per carry. Waye has also made an impact in the passing game, recording 304 yards on just 15 receptions with two touchdowns.

On defense, junior linebacker Aiden Hogg has been terrific for the Mustangs recording an impressive 123 tackles in the regular season along with a sack and a pair of fumble recoveries.

On the other side of the ball, Hogg and the Mustangs defense will have to be sharp, going up against one of the best receivers in the state in Cambridge’s Craig Dandridge.

Dandridge is a four-star wideout who has been committed to Georgia since June of 2025 and has been nothing short of sensational thus far. The top-20 player in the state leads Class 4A in receiving yards with 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns on 53 receptions. Senior wideout Hudson Cocchiara will also play a huge role in the matchup as another target for senior quarterback Connor Langford.

A trio of senior lead the Bears in tackles this season as Grayson Joel, Callum Phillips and Austin McBay lead the team in tackles as the three have combined for 204 total tackles on the season.

Ola will travel to Cambridge on Friday night as both teams seek a spot in the second round of the GHSA Class 4A postseason.
