Class A-3A Private Blog: Preseason All-State team

The Class A–3A private classification is one of the most intriguing entering the 2025 season. With multiple major players graduating or transferring out, many of the most familiar names are no longer in the class. Still, there is plenty of talent, including multiple 4-star prospects and other high-end athletes.

Defending champion Hebron Christian leads the way with four preseason selections, along with several other players who just missed the cut. Prince Avenue and Holy Innocents’ follow with three selections each, the only other schools with more than two players on the list.

Transfers have left the defensive line group weaker than expected. Star 2027 linemen Jaden Worth (Aquinas) and LaDamien Guyton (Savannah Christian) both transferred out of the classification; together, they were two of the top pass rushers in the class. Without them, some lesser-known players will now have the opportunity to gain recognition. In addition, players like Teddy Jarrard and JD Huggins, who were both at North Cobb Christian last season, transferred to larger schools reducing competition for some spots on the list.
