GHSA Fall Esports preseason begins play Monday

The GHSA Esports fall season consists of eleven different disciplines and compete Monday-Thursday each week until the playoffs, which begin in late November.

Teams will take the virtual fields in chess, Hearthstone, Pokémon Unite, League of Legends, Splatoon 3, Street Fighter 6, Super Smash Bros., Rocket League, Madden, Mario Kart 8 and Marvel Rivals.

Chess, Hearthstone and Pokémon Unite competitions are scheduled for Monday, League of Legends, Splatoon 3 and Street Fighter 6 play Tuesday, Super Smash Bros. teams play Wednesday and Rocket League, Madden, Mario Kart 8 and Marvel Rivals teams enter the lobby on Thursdays. All pre and regular season competitions begin at 4 p.m.

Entering the fall season, North Gwinnett is the sitting League of Legends champion while Lowndes returns as the Mario Kart 8 champion. Brookwood wants to defend its Class 5A-6A Smash Bros. championship while East Forsyth (3A-4A) and Mount Vernon (1A-2A) are also trying to repeat as Smash Bros. champions.
