The Harrison Hoyas boys soccer team has been on a roll in the 2025 season. With only three games left, the team is 12-1 and riding an 11-game winning streak.
The Hoyas are led by junior Jonas Heiler, who currently leads 6A in goals, according to MaxPreps. His 25 goals are by far the most in the classification, six ahead of Graysons Tolu Adeyemi, who is second. On the team, Heiler has 14 more goals than the next closest player and also leads in assists with five. In total points, he tops the classification as well, though by a narrower margin, holding just a six-point lead over Adeyemi.
Another key player for the Hoyas is Henry Rohulich. While he doesnt have the gaudy numbers Heiler has, he has still put together a strong season with 11 goals and three assists. He has been a solid second option, helping take pressure off the rest of the team. A third key scorer is Ethan Rodriguez, who has capitalized on his opportunities, scoring eight goals and adding four assists, forming a dangerous scoring trio.
Defensively, the Hoyas have been elite, allowing more than one goal in a game only twice this season. Their lone loss came early in the season, a 2-1 defeat against River Ridge in just the second game of the season. So far, they have shut out eight of their 13 opponents, including high-caliber teams like Allatoona who is 10-2 and Archer who is 12-1 and only loss came to Harrison.
The teams regular season will come down to one crucial game on April 1, when they face off against Campbell, the only other undefeated team in region play. On paper, the Spartans .500 record may not seem threatening, but it is misleading, as all of their losses have come against teams with winning records.
