Reclassification shifted the soccer landscape and a new-look preseason rankings mix and match teams from across the state.
Campbell the runner up in Class 7A last season -- tops Class 6A ahead of Archer, Discovery, Grayson and Colquitt County. In Class 5A, sitting Class 7A champion Kennesaw Mountain tops the class ahead of River Ridge, McIntosh, Sprayberry and Johns Creek.
Westminster leads Class 4A with Benedictine, Cass, Clarkston and Midtown in the top 5. In Class 3A, Johnson-Gainesville is ranked No. 1 ahead of Calhoun, Oconee County, Northwest Whitfield and Whitewater.
Columbus leads Class 2A with Morgan County, Pierce County, Appling County and Coahulla Creek chasing. In Class A Division I, Atlanta International opens at the top and In Class A Division II, Georgia Military is No. 1. Paideia tops Class A Private with GAC, Lovett, Fellowship Christian and Mount Paran in the top 5.
