FALCONS LEAVING DOME?: Blank, team officials exploring other locations

Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank and other team officials say they want to continue playing football games downtown at the Georgia Dome, but will look at other locations for a home for the team, the AJC reports. Several sites have been considered by the Falcons brass, including Doraville, Fort McPherson, Honor Farm, Bellwood Quarry, and a site near Forest Park. The current lease on the Dome could be up as early as 2016 or as late as 2010.
