Grayson Defenside End Andre Fuller Commits To Georgia Tech

Grayson Rams’ three-star defensive end, Andre Fuller will be playing his college football on ‘The Flats’ in Atlanta, Georgia after choosing to play for Brent Key and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Fuller chose Georgia Tech over 31 other offers from major programs like Colorado, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Virginia, USC, and Texas A&M.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound defensive end is the first recruit for Key in the 2025 class. According to 247Sports Composite, Fuller is ranked as a three-star, the No. 49 EDGE, the No. 73 player in the state, and the No. 739 player nationally. He is ranked as the No. 3 edge in the state of Georgia behind Warner Robins’ Isaiah Gibson (USC commit) and Roswell’s Kobby Sakyi-Prah.

In 2023, he finished the year with 79 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 16 quarterback hits, eight sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Those numbers helped him earn First-Team All-County and All-Region selections for Region 4-7A. He shined the brightest in a heavily contested matchup against the Buford Wolves in the quarterfinals that saw the Rams win 19-14. In that game, Fuller had 11 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Before making his commitment, Fuller visited Vanderbilt last weekend on March 24. So far this offseason, Fuller has been making some noise. Fuller was also recognized as a standout in the 5-v-5 competition in early March, by Brian Smith of All Hurricanes. He competed in the Under Armour Camp Series back in February at Carrollton High School, where some of the top talents in the Southeast go to compete. Fuller has been a stand out in the weight room, cleaning 300 pounds on February 25.

The upside for Fuller is apparent, and he will be one of the best players on the Grayson defense next season which is loaded with high-end talent. He will be a player to watch in 2024 and beyond.
