Grayson WR Alexander Sanchez Sets Unofficial Visits For March

Alexander Sanchez has set his unofficial visits for March with more to come in April as the spring recruiting circuit begins to heat up. Sanchez will be at Coastal Carolina on March 23 and Georgia Southern on March 30, he tells me. He will be visiting both campuses for the first time. Sanchez picked up an offer from Georgia Southern on January 17 and Coastal Carolina on January 24.

Sanchez has had a busy winter, especially in the month of January, picking up nine offers during that span. He picked up offers from Appalachian State, East Carolina, Boston College, Coastal Carolina, UAB, Tulane, Marshall, Georgia Southern, and Georgia State. His most recent offer came from Western Kentucky on March 8, and he is now up to 16 offers.

Sanchez has visited two campuses so far in 2024, including Georgia Tech back in late January for the Yellow Jackets junior day and also Louisville on February 5.

Sanchez finished 2023 with 42 catches, 611 yards and six touchdowns. Sanchez was the third-leading receiver on a high-flying offense this past season. His best game came in the first round of the playoffs against North Paulding where he had six catches for 91 yards and a touchdown. He was named Second-Team All-Region for Region 4-7A. Sanchez was also named Offensive Player of the Month in October by the Gwinnett Touchdown Club. He is a multi-sport athlete who also plays baseball and has been playing for the Grayson baseball team while also running with one of the most well-known 7-on-7 teams in Hustle Inc. On the baseball field, he is batting a .261 average with six hits, five runs, and two RBIs. He also has the third-highest fielding percentage on the team, according to MaxPreps.

Sanchez is known for his deep-threat ability on the football field with the capability of stretching the defense. He is also great at high-pointing the football and has great ball skills, and will be a big part of the offense for the Grayson Rams in 2024. Sanchez continues to be a priority for D-I programs across the country and very well could see the offers jump to 20-plus in the summer.
