Indians narrowly defeated by E. Paulding, look to bounce back against S. Cobb

The football team couldn’t quite pull out a win last Friday, falling to East Paulding by a score of 17-14. The team joins a long line of Raider victims, as East Paulding is now a perfect 3-0 on the year. This week, McEachern travels to Austell to face a team that has also only won one game this season. When McEachern and Austell did battle last year, the Indians earned a close 28-27 victory. The South Cobb Eagles haven’t won a game since dominating Campbell in the season opener. … Last Tuesday, the softball team lost a close one to Woodstock 5-4.  On Thursday night, the Lady Indians will face a 13-7 Etowah team. It is a special night for the girls, as all of the seniors will be recognized for their participation and efforts this year. … Last Thursday, the volleyball team fell in two games against Northview, bringing the team’s record to 4-15 on the year. This Thursday, the girls will participate in the Cobb County Tournament, with their first match coming against Lassiter at 5:30 p.m.
