Flowery Branch will host St. Pius in the Corky Kell Classic at 8:30 p.m. this Friday night after Mill Creek was forced to pull out of its matchup against Parkview after a player within the program tested positive for COVID-19. Immediately after receiving the news, Corky Kell’s management team began searching for a replacement matchup to fill the slot. This search eventually led to Flowery Branch’s home contest against St. Pius joining the 2020 Corky Kell lineup.
The 29th edition of the Corky Kell Classic will kick off its four-day, nine-game schedule Wednesday, Sept. 2 with a double-header featuring Carver at Cherokee and Mays at West Forsyth. Peachtree TV will televise all four days of this year’s lineup
