Top Calhoun football prospects commit to SEC schools

Wide Receiver Da’Rick Rogers and quarterback Nash Nance, both 2010 prospects for Calhoun High School, announced their intentions to attend schools in the SEC East. Rogers, who is rated the No. 11 wide receiver by Scout.com, will lend his services to the Georgia Bulldogs, who continue to stock top-notch receivers year in and year out. Nance, Scout.com’s 77th-ranked quarterback, will attend Vanderbilt.

Rogers and Nance announced Tuesday at a joint press conference. Calhoun was the state runner-up in Class 2A, losing to Buford in the title game. Nance, who played at Darlington for the first three years of his high school career, transferred to Calhoun earlier in the year.
