Trojans allow comeback to Milton, lose 21-10

The football team got a win on Oct. 10, managing a 25-22 squeaker over Alpharetta. On Friday, the Trojans took on a Milton team that suffered a heartbreaking loss to Walton the previous week. It was a game where the offense struggled and because of that the Trojans lost their second game of the year, 21-10. Philip Lutzenkirchen led the team with 38 receiving yards and the lone touchdown while Hutson Mason threw for 224 yards. The rushing attack was nonexistent with only 21 yards on the ground. The Trojans will look to bounce back on Friday when they host region-leading Walton. … The softball team made its way into the state tournament, finishing the season with a 19-11 record and securing a No. 3 seed in Region 6-AAAAA. In its first-round game against Kennesaw Mountain, the team fell 3-0. … The volleyball team defeated Kell but fell to Pope twice in the Area 1-AAAAA tournament to earn a No. 2 seed for the playoffs. The Lady Trojans will play this Saturday at noon against Union Grove at Chattahoochee.
