Walton Raiders Tight End Jude Cascone receives offer from Georgia Football

Going into his junior season, Walton Raiders tight end, Jude Cascone is poised to make a name for himself on the field. Before the season started Cascone just this week picked up an offer from the University of Georgia.

At Walton, Cascone was in the tight end rotation and a rotational defensive player for the Raiders.

Standing at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Cascone transferred to Walton from Marist High School where he played open both sides of the ball for the War Eagles as a freshman.

Last season for the Raiders offense, Cascone proved to be effective bringing in 13 receptions for 159 yards and three touchdowns. As skilled as he is as a pass catcher, Cascone is just as if not more effective as a blocker, creating holes and lanes for other Walton skill positions on the field, leading to points on the scoreboard.

Cascone was a weapon for the Raiders last season and made plays on both sides of the ball. Along with his 13 receptions and three touchdowns, he was putting up stats on defense as well, totaling 25 tackles, 16 solo and one sack.

Now with an offer from Georgia, Cascone will be on most teams radars before they face Walton this season, marking him as a real threat on both sides of the ball.

Last season, Cascone was named as a 7A All-Region honorable mention and looks to improve on his impactful sophomore year in the upcoming season.
