Pope is ranked atop Class 6A with Houston County, Lassiter, Apalachee and Creekview filling the top 5. Effingham County is at No. 6 with South Effingham, Sequoyah, River Ridge and North Forsyth rounding out the top 10.
Northgate opens the season atop Class 5A with Northside-Columbus, Eastside, Loganville and Calhoun atop the class and Cambridge, Jones County, Cartersville, Jefferson and Chattahoochee filling the top 10. Walnut Grove tops Class 4A and leads Central-Carroll, West Laurens, East Forsyth and Whitewater rounding the top 5.
Wesleyan opens the season atop Class 3A and is ahead of Harlem, Gordon Lee, Jackson and Bremen filling the top 5.
In Class 2A, Jeff Davis tops the poll ahead of Mount Paran, ACE Charter, Appling County and Pierce County. Heard County opens the year atop Class A Division I with Social Circle, Prince Avenue Christian, Pepperell and Mount Vernon filling the top 10.
In Class A Division II, Wilcox County leads the way with Emanuel County Institute, Lanier County, Georgia Military and Schley County rounding out the top 5.
