Following its 2-1 victory over then-No. 1 Central Gwinnett on March 23, Norcross took the No. 1 ranking in the state’s highest classification. Norcross is perfect on the season, save a tie to Centennial on Feb. 23. Central Gwinnett settles to No. 2. Walton stays at third with Collins Hill moving up from sixth to fourth. Parkview, previously seventh, is fifth this week. Lambert, previously fourth, and Hillgrove, previously fifth, fell to sixth and seventh, respectively.

In Class AAAAAA, Gainesville and Chattahoochee remain the top two teams in the class, in that order. Below the top two, Dalton moved up from fourth to third as Allatoona fell to fourth. Cambridge, previously fifth, slid to sixth allowing Alpharetta to move up one spot to fifth.

Following victories over Carver-Atlanta and Grady, Decatur moved from third to first this week. McIntosh, formerly No. 1, fell to third this week. Cross Keys, formerly seventh, defeated Southwest DeKalb (11-0) and Clarkston (2-1) to move from seventh to second. Carrollton and Johnson-Gainesville are fourth and fifth, respectively.

Last week, Marist was third; this week, it has moved to first ahead of former No. 1 Chestatee and former No. 2 Blessed Trinity. Chestatee is second this week with Blessed Trinity close behind. Former No. 4 Upson-Lee fell to sixth, allowing Northwest Whitfield (No. 4) and Woodward Academy (No. 5) into the fray.

Westminster holds the top spot in Class AAA again this week ahead of East Hall, North Murray, Windsor Forest and GAC. There were no shifts in the top five of Class AAA this week.

Putnam County is in the lead in Class AA with a hungry defending champion, Benedictine, chasing. Thomasville, previously third, fell to fifth this week, allowing Jefferson County to take third and Harlem to moved up from eighth to fourth.

The only shift in the top of the Class A rankings involved Pinecrest Academy falling to fifth and Athens Academy moving to fourth. Paideia, Whitefield Academy and Atlanta International top the rankings in that order.
