Their offense continued on its role in the second half, while their defense held Lowndes from scoring after an early second quarter field goal. Lowndes jumped out to an 8-0 lead after a three-yard rushing score by James Camon and a two-point conversion. They then led 11-7 following a 46-yard field goal by Will Solomon before conceding the lead for the rest of the game.
Top performers: McEachern running back Sam Jackson provided the spark offensively that got the Indians out of their sluggish start. How the game was won: Lovett went on two separate streaks of scoring 17 unanswered points before holding off a huge rally by visiting Chattooga. The two teams racked up almost the same amount of total yardage (359 for Lovett to Chattooga’s 353), but they came at much different points of the game. After the Lions had built a 34-8 advantage, Chattooga scored 20 straight points in a span of nine minutes and 27 seconds. The Indians cut the deficit to six points with 2:51 remaining but could not get any closer.

How the game was won: Fourth-seeded Pace Academy took a 28-0 lead two minutes into the second half with a 69-yard touchdown run by Deon Jackson. A Samuel Sloman third quarter field goal gave Pace a 31-0 lead heading into the final frame.

Wesleyan 45, Model 27
How the game was won: Wesleyan struck first with a 60-yard touchdown pass at the beginning of the game, but Model responded with a pick-six to match the Wolves. The two teams went back and forth before Wesleyan entered the half with a 24-19 edge. Wesleyan scored 21 straight points in the second half before Model scored one final touchdown, giving Wesleyan the win in this 2-AA battle.
Top Performers: Banks Ramsey threw the 60-yard touchdown to Tucker Cannon and would find Cannon again in the fourth quarter for his second passing touchdown… Cannon found the end zone a total of three times, two receiving and one passing… Wesleyan’s Jordan Argilagos had an early first half rushing touchdown and earned himself another with a 37 touchdown run early in the fourth quarter.
