4-star Langston Hughes offensive lineman Dontrell Glover decommits from Alabama

Langston Hughes High School 4-star junior offensive lineman, Dontrell Glover, has reopened his recruitment after decommitting from Alabama late Monday night.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive lineman out of Fairburn, GA is the fourth player to decommit from the Crimson Tide in the Class of 2025 since the announcement of former head coach Nick Saban’s retirement on January 10.

In his statement to On3, Glover noted that playing for Saban was one of the main reasons why he committed to Alabama in the first place. While he stated that Alabama was not out of the running for his commitment, he has reopened his recruitment to continue to take visits to other schools.

The 4-star has a plethora of official offers from major college football programs around the country and has kept in touch with various SEC schools while he was committed to the Crimson Tide.

The Langston Hughes star visited Auburn last weekend and will continue to take visits to decide his future, including a visit back to Tuscaloosa on February 3 per On3.

Glover is ranked the 21st-best player and the eighth-best offensive lineman in the state of Georgia according to On3 rankings.
