Hoyas defeat Woodstock and East Paulding to stay unbeaten

The football team continued its magical season with two more wins in as many weeks, pushing its record to 7-0. Highly recruited running back Robbie Godhigh was instrumental in the 17-15 victory over Woodstock on Oct 10. He blocked a field goal to save the game for the Hoyas. On top of that he ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Godhigh was again the leader for Harrison in its 28-16 defeat of previously unbeaten East Paulding last Friday. He ran for 103 yards and one touchdown along with a kickoff return for a touchdown. The stout Hoya defense held East Paulding to three points through three quarters. … The volleyball team was able to win its first match of the Area 5-AAAAA tournament against Pebblebrook (25-6, 25-13). Tori Forrest had 13 kills to lead the team. The Lady Hoyas, however, were unable to put things together in the championship game against Kennesaw Mountain. The team will be the No. 2 seed in the state tournament and will face Milton in the first round.
