Kaysons features tons of TVs, laid-back atmosphere

A friendly staff, tasty food, good pours and lots of televisions are the key ingredients for a great sports bar. Though it seems like a simple formula, many establishments have failed to achieve these standards. At Kaysons Grille in Symrna, however, this is definitely not the case.

Kaysons Grille operates under a simple belief: “serve our guests great food in a relaxed environment.” It was tarted by Steve Kaye who, along with his three sons Adam, Robbie and Jason, owns and manages three restaurants in the suburban Atlanta area. Jason Kaye, who manages the Smyrna location, echoed Kaysons’ motto when asked his favorite part of working at a sports bar. “Being able to work around fun people and families is the best part,” explained Kaye.

The menu at Kaysons is an eclectic mix of traditional sports bar options such as steaks, burgers, wings, and pub-style fare such as fish and pasta dishes. Some of the most popular dishes are the grilled grouper sandwich, the 12-ounce rib-eye dinner, and of course the Big Daddy Burger.

Kaysons takes the concept of being a sports fan very seriously. Each booth in the dining portion of the restaurant has its own individual flat screen, so you can ensure that the game you want to watch will be on. Jason Kaye, who is a self-proclaimed Atlanta sports fanatic and enjoys watching the Falcons, Thrashers and Hawks, assured me that he understands his customers may have allegiances to other teams. Therefore, by having access to the NFL Network and ESPN GamePlan, he can provide his patrons with every opportunity to see the games of their choice.

From the moment you enter the door at Kaysons, you are greeted by a friendly staff of hostesses, servers and bartenders who all seem dedicated to one simple goal: providing a fun and enjoyable environment in which to dine, watch sports and relax.
