Girls basketball rankings: Osborne replaces McEachern atop AAAAAA poll

Osborne debuts at No. 1 in Class AAAAAA after expanding its win streak to nine games and including a 74-70 win over previously top-ranked McEachern. McEachern dropped to No. 2 and Westlake dropped four spots to No. 7. South Forsyth used a 52-50 win over North Forsyth last Tuesday to jump to No. 3. Mountain View debuts at No. 10 and replaced North Cobb.

In Class AAAAA, Cross Creek debuts at No. 7 after handling Greenbrier 57-44 last week. The loss dropped Greenbrier to No. 10. The Class AAAA top 10 stayed the same and in Class AAA the big change was 15-0 South Atlanta debuting in the top 5. Calhoun replaced Peach County at No. 10 in the AAA poll.

In Class AA, Model used a 55-44 win over Darlington to improve to No. 3, while dropping Darlington to No. 5. Mt. Pisgah was replaced in the Class A rankings by Calvary Day, which debuts at No. 7.
