RECRUITING BUZZ: UGA getting in-state o-line help

The University of Georgia picked up its 17th pledge yesterday when “The Finisher,” aka Walton offensive lineman Brandon Kublanow, made his intentions known that he would be headed to Athens after his senior season with the Raiders. Walton is absolutely loaded on offense this year with Kublanow, running back Tyren Jones (headed to Alabama) and quarterback Parker McLeod (several offers including Oklahoma State, Maryland and Louisville). The Finisher is the third offensive lineman to pledge to Georgia and the second in less than one week. Buford’s Josh Cardiello made his intentions public Saturday. 247sports has Cardiello listed as a three-star prospect and projects him at guard for the Bulldogs. Kublanow is also projected as a guard for the Bulldogs with a four-star rating.

The offers have started pouring in for Elite 11 camp winner Anthony Jennings of Marietta. After starring in the camp at Buford High School last month, Jennings has picked up offers from Oregon and Wisconsin in the last few days. He also holds offers from Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Mississippi State, Nebraska and UNC according to rivals.com.

Finally Davin Bellamy of Chamblee is starting to receive plenty of attention from colleges across the country. The 6-foot-5 defensive end has picked up 12 offers since the start of May including Purdue, Florida State, UGA, UNC, Tennessee and, most recently, Clemson.
