Norcross was shutout for the second consecutive week and dropped out of the poll and Etowah climbed back to No. 10 after a 41-0 win over Wheeler.
In Class AAA, Jefferson dropped to No. 6 after a 36-35 double-overtime loss at Oconee County. Aquinas moved to No. 4 in Class A-Private with a 24-3 win over Lincoln County. Savannah Christian leapt to No. 5 after a 42-12 win over Claxton. In Class A-Public, Emanuel County Institute jumped Lincoln County for No. 2 after its loss to Aquinas. Clinch County protected its spot at No. 4 with a 14-7 home win over No. 6 Charlton County.
