Milton remains No. 1 in Class AAAAAA and followed up a 17-4 win over visiting Cambridge on Wednesday with a pair of wins over out-of-state opponents with a combined 26-4 record this weekend. No. 2 Harrison dominated Campbell 20-1 on Tuesday. Roswell entered the top three this week after topping previous No. 3 Walton 12-9 on Wednesday and Mill Creek 13-12 in overtime on Friday. Johns Creek jumps to No. 4 after serving Northview its first loss of the season on Tuesday in double-overtime (10-9) and Lambert remains No. 5. Chattahoochee enters this week’s poll at No. 8 after its 12-7 win over Walton on Monday. Walton dropped to No. 9 after suffering back-to-back losses to Chattahoochee and Roswell.

In Class A-AAAAA, Westminster beat Riverwood (15-2) and Allatoona (16-6) this week and took over No. 1. Northview dropped to No. 2 after dropping its first loss of the season at Johns Creek on Tuesday 14-11. Lovett outscored Carrollton 17-2 and Whitefield Academy 15-4 to remain at No. 3 and Decatur holds down No. 4 after stifling St. Pius X 11-1 on Tuesday. Cambridge fell from No. 8 and out of our poll after suffering losses in four of its final five games of the season. McIntosh debuts at No. 9 and St. Pius X remains at No. 10.

No. 1 Milton remains unbeaten against in-state opponents as is No. 2 Lassiter and the two teams will square off May 2 at Milton. No. 3 Chattahoochee topped West Forsyth 17-7 this week. Walton remains at No. 4 after falling just short to Lassiter on Saturday 10-9. Centennial moves to No. 5 after Mill Creek suffered a 15-14 loss to Roswell on Thursday. The Hawks fell from No. 5 to No. 7. Etowah jumped to No. 6 and Johns Creek moved up to No. 8. Harrison debuts at No. 10 after winning its last 10 games.

The top five remains in tact, despite a week filled with top-five matchups. No. 1 Kell beat No. 2 Northview 15-11 and No. 3 Westminster edged No. 4 Pope 16-14 in overtime. No. 5 Cambridge lost to 13-1 Lake Norman (N.C.) in a 24-17 shootout and kept its spot in the top five with victories over Marist and Lambert. No. 6 St. Pius X had the week off and No. 7 McIntosh opened its week with a 23-0 win over Carrollton last Monday. Marist dropped out of the top 10 with a 22-10 loss to Cambridge on Tuesday and Holy Innocents’ debuts at No. 10.
