Grayson tops the state’s highest class following the holiday basketball tournaments and Brookwood, North Forsyth, Norcross and Tift County round the top 5. West Forsyth, Cherokee, Woodstock, Campbell and South Forsyth fill the top 10.
Carrollton tops Class 6A this week and leads River Ridge, Brunswick, Buford, and Kell in the top 5. Woodward Academy is the team to beat in Class 5A and is leading Forest Park, Jackson-Atlanta, Greenbrier and Northside-Columbus.
Jefferson tops Class 4A ahead of Luella, Carver-Columbus, Baldwin and Marist in the top 5. In Class 3A, Lumpkin County leads the way with Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, Cross Creek, Greater Atlanta Christian and Pierce County chasing.
Elbert County is at the top of Class 2A and is ahead of Swainsboro, Dodge County, Fannin County and Rabun County.
Holy Innocents’ is the team to beat in Class A Private and leads Mount Paran, St. Francis, Hebron and Calvary Day. In Class A Public, Montgomery County is at the top with Taylor County, Lake Oconee Academy, Charlton County and Pelham chasing.
