Week 4 boys soccer rankings

In Class AAAAAAA the top six teams remain the same with Peachtree Ridge still ranked first. Etowah takes the No. 2 spot and Berkmar is third. Mill Creek, previously-ranked No. 7, fell out of the rankings and was replaced by ninth-ranked Marietta. Brookwood moved from No. 10 to No. 9 and Meadowcreek fell to No. 10 from No. 8. South Forsyth is newly-ranked at No. 8.

In Class AAAAAA, Dalton still holds the top-spot and Chattahoochee is close behind. Gainesville fell from No. 3 to No. 4 as Allatoona moved up from No. 5 to take the third spot. Johns Creek, who was ranked seventh last week, moved up to fifth. Greenbrier moved up from No. 8 to No. 6. Cambridge was ranked 10th last week and has fallen out of the fray.

In Class AAAAA, McIntosh is still on top with a 9-1-0 record.  Johnson-Gainesville moved from No. 3 to No. 4 and is replaced by Grady. Starr’s Mill fell to sixth and is replaced at the No. 5 spot by Clarkston. Whitewater took a tumble from No. 8 to No. 10 and is replaced by Kell.

In Class AAAA, the top five remain the same except for St. Pius X and Northwest Whitfield swapping No. 4 and No. 5 spots. Blessed Trinity, previously ranked ninth, has fallen out of the top 10 and was replaced by new No. 9 Chestatee. Upson-Lee, previously ranked 10th, also fell out and is replaced by new No. 10 Cedartown.

In Class AAA, the top-5 stays the same except for Dawson County replacing North Murray as the fifth-ranked team. North Murray fell to No. 7. Windsor Forest, previously ranked seventh, moved up to No. 6. Savannah Arts fell from No. 6 to No. 8. North Hall fell from No. 10 to unranked and was replaced by Pike County.

Fitzgerald holds the top spot again this week in Class AA. Harlem took over the No. 5 spot as Thomasville slid to No. 8. Model moved from No. 10 to No. 6 this week. Ninth-ranked Coosa fell out of the rankings to make room for new No. 10, Gordon Central. Pepperell fell from No. 8 to No. 9

In Class A, The Walker School made a jump from No. 7 to the No. 1 ranking. Mount De Sales enters the rankings at the No. 10 spot this week as Savannah Country Day falls by the wayside. Fellowship Christian fell from No. 3 to No. 7. Previously ranked No. 9 Hebron Christian and No. 8 Stratford Academy also moved out of the top-10 making way for newly ranked programs such as, No. 9 Riverside Military, No. 8 Providence Christian and Mt. De Sales.
